Problem

Retail shrinkage (losses from theft and errors) is a constant cost for retailers. The loss-prevention team had to find and review the video for every flagged transaction by hand.

Approach

We built a production system that connects HikVision and UTC CCTV with the iPOS transaction stream (POSLog). Video and transaction data are synchronised and searchable, and a configurable rule-based alarm engine flags suspicious transactions.

Solution

A live view of all checkout lanes, transaction–video sync, an alarm review queue, receipt search and exportable evidence packs. The system is deployed in every store and runs 24/7.

Result

Live in every store. The synchronised video and transaction data are the base for the planned AI extensions: skip-scan detection, anomaly scoring and automated reporting.

Problem

Acterys makes business planning and analytics software. It needed an AI framework as the base for several new products planned for 2026.

Approach

We worked closely with the Acterys team and turned complex requirements into a practical, scalable AI architecture.

Solution

We designed the AI framework and delivered it as a proof of concept.

Result

The project is complete. Acterys describes the framework as the base of several solutions it is bringing to market in 2026.
